Every team member who joins Kolehouse Strategies receives thorough training on canvassing technique and best practices,issue and candidate education, iPad and app training, messaging memorization, and company policy. Then they are paired with a veteran trainer to continue training in the field, and receive a performance analysis to make sure they are ready to succeed.

Daily trainings for all active staff are one of the key differentiators in our process – meaning our teams become increasingly professional, educated, and accountable message carriers for your campaign. Whether its having a candidate or campaign staff into the office for a briefing, role playing common scenarios at the door, or having our most talented staff members lead discussions about technique; our focus on continued education and perpetual improvement maximizes results for our clients.

Our canvassers collect high quality data you can trust, as each of them immediately records data from their interactions at the door using LTE- enabled iPads. GPS tracking on each device provides accountability, along with follow-up calls performed by team leaders to make sure residents had a positive interaction at the door and to answer any remaining questions.

Each day following canvass activity from our team, a numerical sheet providing a detailed look at canvass shifts dispatched, doors knocked, conversations held, survey question responses, and other critical statistics is compiled and sent. You daily shift summary will also include the top questions, positive comments, negative comments, and important issues mentioned by voters during that day’s activity.
